This journal accepts commentary pertaining to peer reviewed papers in this journal.    These non-peer reviewed comments are published in a separate section.

Unchecked Open Submissions Unchecked Indexed Unchecked Peer Reviewed


Authors have the option to list the submitted version of their manuscript on the journal in this submissions section.   At the time these manuscripts appear in this section, they are not peer-reviewed.    Unsolicited named reviews will be received by the editors and included in the peer review process.    If the manuscript is accepted then the reviewed and revised manuscript will appear in the peer reviewed Articles section.   Once peer review is complete (accepted or rejected) then the paper will be removed from the Submissions section.   Listing your paper in the Submissions section is optional.

Peer Review Process

The journal uses a traditional peer review process with an option for submissions to be listed in a non-peer reviewed section during the peer-review process enabling unsolicited named reviews to be included in the peer review process.


Publication Frequency

This Journal of Clouds and Aerosols publishes journal articles to the current issue as soon as an article is approved by the editor (including any corrections) and layout and copyediting have been completed and approved.   Approved articles are published to the current issue until the issue has a collection of sufficient papers or the end of the year is reached.  


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.



This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration. More...
